Privacy Policy

1. App services

DayPlan Lite is an offline productivity application for creating and managing tasks, notes, checklist notes, meetings, events, calendar plans, recurring items, reminders and alarm-style notifications. It also provides local search, JSON backup and restore, reminder diagnostics, and optional integration with calendars already available on the Android device.

2. Data stored on your device

Tasks, note text, checklist state, labels, meetings, events, dates, recurrence rules, reminder definitions, settings, selected device-calendar identifiers and derived alarm scheduling state are stored locally in DayPlan Lite’s private database and preferences. The developer does not receive this content.

3. Collection, sharing and Internet access

DayPlan Lite has no account system, advertising, analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting service, cloud backend or Internet permission. The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share your personal information with the developer or advertising companies.

4. Permissions and their purpose

• Notifications: shows reminders and alarm-style notifications created by you.
• Alarms and reminders access: improves reminder timing. When exact access is unavailable, DayPlan Lite uses Android’s documented approximate fallback.
• Boot completed: rebuilds future reminders after Android delivers a supported reboot event.
• Read/write calendar: requested only when you explicitly enable connected device calendars. DayPlan Lite’s built-in calendar works without this permission.

The app does not request Internet, location, contacts, phone, SMS, microphone, camera, media or broad storage permission.

5. Backups and device calendars

Backup export and restore use Android’s system document picker only when you request the operation. A document-provider app may process the file you choose under that provider’s terms. When you explicitly link an event to a device calendar, Android’s calendar provider processes that selected event. DayPlan Lite avoids silently enabling duplicate calendar alerts.

6. User control and deletion

You can edit, archive or permanently delete tasks and notes, delete labels without deleting note content, unlink calendar events, disable permissions and notification channels in Android Settings, export a readable versioned JSON backup, or erase all DayPlan Lite data using Android Settings. Uninstalling the app normally removes its private local database.

7. Reminder limitations

Reminder delivery is subject to Android notification settings, exact-alarm access, battery restrictions, Do Not Disturb, manufacturer policies and Force stop behavior. DayPlan Lite provides Reminder Health diagnostics and does not claim guaranteed delivery where Android prevents it.

8. Children

DayPlan Lite is a general productivity utility. It does not knowingly collect information from children or other users because it does not transmit user content to the developer.
